mdadm:No arrays found [Solved]

Postby nobicycle » Fri Sep 06, 2013 15:14

Hi,
Using an md5sum checked 13.08 MATE unetbootin created usb stick, on two separate and different hardware systems, Sabayon installs, and boots to this message:

mdadm:No arrays found in config file or automatically.
No volumes groups found
!!Please file a bug report with this message.

Some poor Hen has already tried getting an answer about this and quit.

I believe this is yet another Anaconda issue (see my past rant about Anaconda here: https://forum.sabayon.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=30105) , linked to the fact of choosing Custom Partitioning.

I am sorry to say after 7 years of using Sabayon I have had enough of Anaconda. I am off to install Crunchbang

For a while, I will leave one system in its current state in case there are any questions.
