Installing persistent system on USB/ no free loop devices

Post by cabalinho » Wed Mar 31, 2010 1:41

I have been trying to create a persistent usb stick with Sabayon and following the HOWTO instructions. The stick boots and is not persistent. I get the error message "no free loop devices". Then when I reboot I receive a bade xsistence image message. Also, when I go in to look at the files using Dolphin it shows the partition containing the xsistence image and the partition is not mounted. If it isn't mounted how does the system know that the image is bad? The bottom line is that there is no persistence. What do I need to do?
