I have an entry saved from when i was doing some tests to grub2. Can't remember if it worked properly but at least I'm sure it boots.
You'll have to edit it according to your system.
Code: Select all
menuentry "SabayonLinux x86_64-2.6.30-sabayon" --class sabayon --class linux --class os {
        set root=(hd0,1)
        search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 4dbde[...]
        linux   /kernel-genkernel-x86_64-2.6.30-sabayon root=/dev/sda3 ro init=/linuxrc splash=silent,theme:sabayon console=tty1 quiet resume=swap:/dev/sdb1
}
Former Sabayon staff (retired).
