Install Hangup

Post by unknownerror » Tue Oct 16, 2007 20:23

HI ALL,

I WAS TRYING TO INSTALL THE 64BIT VERSION THE OTHERDAY (AKA SABAYON 3.4F X86_64) AND IT PROCEEDED AS FAR AS 81.25 PERCENT PROGRESS, BUT WOULDN'T GO FARTHER...IT HAULTED AT THE PACKAGE GTRHARM...

I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS A KNOWN BUG, OR SOMETHING I NEED TO DISABLE, BECAUSE I'VE SEARCHED THE FORUM POSTS.

THANK AHEAD OF TIME,
BRANDON

First, layoff the caps, good grief

2nd, if your installer freezes during install, 95% of the time it is a bad burn, bad disk, or bad md5sum

I agree with wolfden and strongly suggest that you burn your iso dvds at 1x or 2x slower gives the best results.
