What is the minimum Free Space on disk to Install Sabayon???

Installer Issues via Installer -- Not for global upgrades or upgrading individual packages -- ONLY ISSUES WITH INSTALLATION OF THE OS -- Can't get Sabayon installed, than post here, otherwise use correct forums

Hi guys, what is the minimum free space on hd to install sabayon with KDE and default packages and resources?

You should allow 12GB for the install. You can then uninstall the packages you don't want.
Desktop1: Sabayon 3.4e, WinXP | Desktop2: Sabayon 3.4e, WinME |

Thank's darkscot, i tried install sabayon with 9Gb free space on disk and i got this error :

12gb or more for root partition I have a total of 20gb for all linux parts and works fine + a bit of free space. Remeber the samller it is the more you have to clean / prune portage folder or stuff like this and or clean out temp files. I made a copy of the /usr/portage folder and have it on a backup hd so I can reuse it / saves on downloading files again.

Oops! I should have made it clear 12GB was only for Sabayon. You need more than that for actually storing your data. I am a bit complacent about disk space as I have 520GB on my PC.
