Installation of sabayon mate failed on ACER Helios 300

Postby jaguar1637 » Fri Dec 29, 2017 21:42

hi
I just recently bought a new portable, bcoz, my old one, under Sabayon was stolen, so it's ACER Predator helios 300 for gaming(Sabayon Mate is perfect for CS ;)
configuration a intel I7 core 8Gb w/ a SSD 256gb, the best to store CS binaries

so, I need to install the distribution Sabayon_Linux_16.11_amd64_MATE
but I suck while booting on a USB created by Unebuiltin

when I launch the following command "Default"
/ubnkern initrd=/ubninit overlayfs cdroot splash quiet --

the message I got
INFO: rcu_sched detected stalls on CPUs/tasks
o0-...: (2 GPs behind) idle=65e/0/0 softirq=26/26 fqs=0
o1-...: (5 GPs behind) idle=b62/0/0 softirq=15/17 fqs=0

=> It seems to be a pb of screen detection

Please, help !

hi

Any ideas or help to tell people how to perform from scratch a new installation Sabayon Mate on a PC ACER with a Nividia graphic card ?

I know perfectly how to install a Nvidia driver, this issue regards just the launching of the installation (may be modification of the Xorg... grub configuration.... )

Please, help !
