Sabayon Linux 3.4 - 10 days left

Website news

patience - it's coming

they don't hold it back on purpose

3.4 needed a couple of tweaks so a new iso of 3.4a was built and lxnay has been going day and night to get the new release ready. Beta testers just got it early this morning and if no issues come up - it will be uploaded to servers. Couple more days.

It's coming and there will be an announcement made when it is ready. They never hide the announcement.

I guess we could all wait just few more days to have a really "finished" release yeah ? :D
And if anyone has broken his/her SL, but still can post here, I think one or two more days won't really change anything (I'm also waiting for the release to really work on my SL's optimisation instead of doing it on an installation that I will erase within a week !)

I'm running Windows... This is painful. :P However, I can a couple of more days so Sabayon is even better. :)

BTW, to all those who put in the hard work to make Sabayon: Thank you.

I dont mind waiting, but dont say "only 10 days left" and then no announcement or even forum topic saying that the target date that they announce will be missed. Thats all, its not the waiting, its the not knowing.

Thats why you always add a few days to your target date.

I am a software developer and because of this I _never_ give a release date, I dont even give a general month.

i just came home from a 15-hours-with-f*****g-hard-work, i just wanted to start the download.

ok, no 3.4 tonight...

...who cares...let the boys (and girls???) do their work and we all will be happy in a few days.

On first sight, seems one of the most cutting edge distro's. I'm really eager to try it. Hopefully I can exploit all 3D possibilities with my ATI card (x600).
