Sabayon Linux future colour scheme

Postby lxnay » Fri Sep 07, 2007 18:07

As you can see, our colour scheme is changing again and the migration will be completed before Christmas. Our new colours will be: red+while+(some black).
Have fun :)

I would love to say its good but.. It really isnt.

It has the same problem as before, there are to many colour variants, theres no definition between one colour and the next making it hard to impossible to distinguish between forum posts. The colours are all over the place dark red, bright red, light red, 3 variations of pink, yellow, green, white, black.

I do have a couple of suggestions.

Add a border around posts or make them more distinguishable between posts and the background.

Loose some of the colours and stick to a specific set of colours that work reasonably well together, you don't need 3 reds and 3 shades of pink.

I like this pink version :D It's much more easy on my eyes than the red-black one. Honestly, I hated the previous versions

I am definetly not going to let this gay theme into my desktop !
Seriously, I have hardly seen worse theme in any distro, if this is sabayon direction then ... luckily I can change colour scheme to previous one easily in KDE but I already hate this forum. AFAK BB forums support theme changing so why don't you give us choice ?
