Chris Pirillo discovered SL recently, and liked it (a lot!). Watch and read here:

LOL he is so excited about it imagine if all the new bits planed is finalized / added.

SL is the default distro for beryl or something like this and the new ? wine type partnership on the gnome desktop looks very nice.
Just not sure if anyone is using gnome or how many is using it , as it put me off of ubuntu.
I wonder what he would have done if he knew about virtualbox or have tried it as it makes life so much easier or binmerge / p2p emerge type installer LX is working on.
Sure it is not as convenient as rpm packages and installing them in less than a min. but for gentoo it is amazing or will be.

I have now. We posted on the same date, too.

I like Chris Pirillo's blog and read it quite often. I found out about Kororaa and the Linux cube desktop from his blog back in October last year and downloaded the Kororaa LiveCD to try. From that moment on I was hooked, and determined to have Beryl or Compiz running on my laptop at some point. Then I discovered SL 3.26 in March this year, downloaded it and, as they say, "the rest is history." So, indirectly, Chris Pirillo is the reason I'm posting here today!
