well it would help to know what u are referring too. I assume your referring to superkaramba which is a widget program with all sort of various stuff. emerge superkaramba

or u can do conky and totally customize it. emerge conky

.conkyrc <--edit that

Resources:
http://conky.sourceforge.net/variables.html
http://conky.sourceforge.net/config_settings.html
http://conky.sourceforge.net/screenshots.html <--download other's code
http://google.com <-- search conky scripts or something like that

Gigadelic IIDX, if it's not already there, you need to add:

Code: Select all
Load "dbe"

to Section "Module" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

--------------------

wolfden, I like your conky panel. Could you post your .conkyrc file? Thanks.

Attached is the entire thing, scripts and all. I just have the weather folder in my home directory. All scripts are in that folder and called from there. Place the .conky.rc in your home folder of course.

Yes that is best :D

for me, I use Nvidia and had to emerge nvclock to get some of the stats. It's a nice program, dunno what ATI has to offer for some thing like that.
