linksys / belkin buggy firmware solution found

Postby WarraWarra » Tue May 15, 2007 10:25

I have a Linksys WRT54GS with the useless firmware and bugs that came with the last update .

I have annoyed linksys so much about the bugs in the firmware they must have me on a ban list or something.

Just stumbled onto heaven for linksys / belkin or a alternative , linux open source firmware that rocks my world.

Have it running on my linksys and it works like a charm.

Hope this helps someone else having DOS and SYN attacks on their linksys while using google chat or playing games online.

WOW I am impressed with this firmware all I can say is WOW.

Found the dd wrt after I already did the tomato firmware was planning to use it as fallback if this tomato did not work.

Any idea what to do with the remaining 30mb ?? on the router as with the tomato I can add some scripts under admin - scripts.

I also see there is CIFS ?? and JFFS2 options but no clue what it is or how to use it new ground for me.

Nice bandwidth monitoring implementation.

Man I love linux.
