I use it for everything I do. web development is the most common task, which includes gimp usage. but of coarse for book keeping, and typing letters that kind of stuff. I wish I could use it at work. these dumb macs are killing me.

well i use sabayon for everything i do... it's the only distro i use installed in my hdd... verry strange pool i have to say... :P

Well,if it needs to be or can be done on a computer, that's what I'm using sabayon for.
But, specifically;
Web development.
Personal Finance.
Email and Web browsing.
Running VMWare.
Watching movies.
Multimedia.
And lastly, if I can get mythtv to work, watching and recording TV shows.

For anyone who cares, I'm a slackware convert, used it since 8.0. Slackware is a great distro. But after trying sabayon for a few months I think I finally found a distro I like as much or more. Plus it has more cutting edge features an beryl.
