IMPRESSIVE!! and I thought I had a lot of distros!

I've got slackware 9.0 and approximately half of what you have!!

When I found Sabayon my collection stopped though. Here is a nice addition to your collection. Look up vine linux, icepack linux, Oh and you cannot forget F.I.R.E. its nice too, but its not really a linux OS, but a recovery prog.

If you have a lot because you aren't content then no your being rational. If you have a lot because you like to collect them then only if that harms you are you insane.

I think it is normal for the average linux person to try dozens upon dozens of distros. It's how you find the one that works best for you. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many isos I have downloaded. I still down a livecd here and there when I see a new one that looks interesting. Two recent ones I have downloaded were DreamLinux and GoboLinux. The list just keeps growing.

If you're crazy then I must be too. I have 2- 100 CD/DVD pie boxes filled with various linux distros. I'm working on my third. Although I don't try as many distros for the fun of it any more. I found Sabayon and PCLOS do everything I need so there is no need to change.

me also ... but for me is not a linux collection but more a linux evolution. For example, my first linux was Red Hat Linux 4.2 coming with my first linux book, "Discover Linux", © 1997 by Steve Oualline, translated in romanian language by Teora publishing house ... So even is so old now is not in my trash bin but still sit here to my desk, the book and the pressed cd-rom ... After that first 'linux install fest', more 3-4 versions of red had linux, and more madriva & madrake, and more suse linux, and after that i'm begin to like all this livecd & live dvd things, and more 10 - 20 live distro grow to my pile of linux distros ( slax, pclinuxos, mandrivaone, kanotix, kororra, freespire, supergammer, zenlive, gobolinux, knoppix ... etc ... etc ... ) and finally i discover gentoo and sabayon linux, and i think that my linux hungrynees is beginning to sloow down and settle with gentoo & sabayon ... But i do not trash any of my past linux distribution ... all is still here .. just in case ... maybe i need some of it someday ... In total is ~ 50 cd and aprox. 25 dvd . A lot of it, but easy to trow all of it in a 100 cd-tower pack ... And is not only what i download from internet ... some is comming with linux magazines that i'm like to read ...
linux is free, the expertise to harness it is not!
you don't make so much money selling open source software!
You make MORE money USING it, just like google!
