if you encounter issues connecting to "free wifi"

Post by bookewyrmm » Mon Feb 13, 2017 22:02

Some "free wifi" hot spots require SSL redirect to authenticate that you are a genuine user, and for you to agree to not abuse their good graces.

I have encountered some hotspots that will not redirect from my https homepage to their auth page.

What I have found are 2 tricks that inevitably do work, either browsing to or browsing to http://neverssl.com

Hope someone can find this helpfull
