A little [Linux] nonsense now and then

Postby Fitzcarraldo » Thu Oct 02, 2008 0:15

Here are a couple of comic strips that make me chuckle:

xkcd - A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language.

And, if you don't know about it already, Linux Hater's Blog is obligatory reading. Hilarious, and a lot of truth in it too.

Any other amusing Linux-related sites or comic strips/pictures you have come across? :clown:

As is usually the case, funny things contain more than a grain of truth :)

^I should have pointed out that his language is filthy, albeit he lays it on with a trowel for effect. Still very funny in places, though if you can put up with -- or run with -- the language.

The problem to me is that "laying it on with a trowel" means it's no longer effective. I have no quarrel with any word in the English language but I do hate to see very effective words lose their power by over use.

I'm not surprised you needed a little light relief after all your work with the kernel! This latest one inspired me to do a google image search on "linux cartoons" and have spent a happy half hour there.
This was my favourite page: http://folk.uio.no/hpv/linuxtoons/
