I play guitar too :)

I have an acoustic fender and a copy of a les pauls guitar as my electric
I do not practice enough though, but it certainly is a great way to relax

what are you favorite bands and artists?

I just bought the new bob dylan and I'm also into Bruce Springsteen and Tom Waits...

At the moment, I've been listening to a group called The Kooks, and another group called Kubb - managed to catch them playing in Cardiff a few weeks ago... they were very good.

There are always lots of fesitvals in the UK during the summer months - last weekend it was the Reading & Leeds fesitvals, and the weekend before that it was the V Festival. Lots of good groups to listen to. Sadly no Glastonbury festival this year though.

Yes, I had heard of Rock Werchter... would have loved to see The Who. We didn't get The Who, but Morrissey actually played at the V Festival. I saw it on TV, and he was as good as he ever was :)

sweet! more guitar playing linux geeks! who knew? anyhoo, some of my favorite bands / artists include: Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Interpol, The Doves, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Perfect Circle, The Doors, R.E.M., The Beatles (mostly the later stuff) and some other bands and artists...I think you get the idea.

kennylog: I'm with you on Bob Dylan. I actually got to see him live back in April, it was the best concert i've ever been to.

:D

I play a Fender electric guitar. I haven't been playing long (~4 months) but I am still learning. Right now I am working on power cords and playing Santeria. I take lessons at a local art center.
