a couple of suggestions for sabayon 3.4

Post by FuzZy2006 » Thu Jul 19, 2007 17:46

i know it's kinda late but ... i'll try :D
first ... i've tried the new democracy now called miro ( http://www.getmiro.com ) version 0.9.8 which works great on windows. Then i tried to install it on sabayon. I don't know why it doesn't work ... my error is here: http://pastebin.ca/626308
another great program, actually a game i've played for the past weeks is called lemmingball z ( http://www.lbz3d.com/v2/ ) which works like a charm on sabayon and has great graphics and gameplay.
i'd like to make ebuilds for these, but the first doesn't install on my computer and for the second i don't know how to handle dependencies ...

Wait...What?

According to the Miro download page there is a Gentoo build coming soon. That will most likely work on Sabayon. :)

When someone decides to make one, theres nothing in bugs.gentoo.org which means no one has requested it so no ebuild makers will make it unless they use it or unless someone at miro is making it themselves.

FuzZy2006 thats your ebuild yes? what to do is post is in ether bugs.gentoo.org or bugs.sabayonlinux.org or both so people can help work on it and get it working properly.
