OK, I was thinking of blending the 'S' and the 'L' together to form a logo of sorts -- if I have time, I'll do that tonight. :)

Izo , you are cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the glassy is what we need, just make it slightly more so and so on, transparent, let a little of the grey show through.
as for the foot, could we go to a egg? you know, in a pan without it's shell? :D

I was looking at PCLinuxOS 2007 test2 and realised that the look of 'glass' looks really polished....
but they use blue against black.... if sabayon used the opposite... glassy, but "signal red" against black... it would express much more 'strenght' :p

lol, I think it doesn't matter what the theme will be... I will use my ideas anyway for myself :D

Thanks. The added transparency is easily adjusted.

No, sorry, Goatee's 3D model of the bowl and whisk was only a demonstration of 3D modelling ... I don't the idea of custard will work Sabayon. :)

Ah. You've seen my DeviantART profile then? :D

That sort of stuff is easy enough to produce, and I can add various effects to good landscape phots to enhance them. So that won't be a problem.

Just had an idea for the new Sabayon Linux logo ... be right back ...

look. glass against water beats all, apple and ms do it all over the place.
so some onyx-colored GLASS on everything and polish, polish, 1,2,3 and we have it!.
toss in the logo and we have a good theme. glassing everything is the way to go.
with a good bit of landscape art for the background, then we have it.
as for the goatee model, nononono , I meant either using cad to sort of blue-print a foot so it looks really well and precisely made, without skin, or yellow, just a cool-looking wireframe.
Or a 2d stylized omelette ?

I agree. And it's easy enough to modify landscape pics with glassy icons/logos/other effects as well.
