Limbo forum section

Postby Provia » Wed Jan 23, 2013 20:43

I know that there i a bug traker for reporting bugs. Anyway i think that maybe an official forum section dedicated to testing is a good idea. This will allow to report and discuss limbo problems in a easy and quick way.

I'm proposing this because of the problems with last updates caused by lack of testing and reporting (i'm also thinkg of dedicating a SL intallation only for limbo testing on my pc)

A mailing list is not a little bit caotic? (i have never been a tester before)
Topics on forum can be easly read and deleted if they are duplicated.

PS: sorry for my english

The mailing list can sort things much better than a forum, and bugzilla does even better.

You can browse them at least as good as a forum, they also prevent duplication in a better way, by using the evergreen search function :)
Moreover they force you to organize the way in which you expose problems before posting, in a forum you could be tempted to write quickly and post without paying much attention.
I also agree with sabayonino, having mailing list, bugzilla and a forum section is useless duplication of efforts in my opinion.
