Perhaps it would be an idea to modify the anakonda installer so it got an extra step where you can change use flags and select Cflags en Chost?

Also the update-installer needs to be integrated in anakonda.

I've voiced my suggestions before in previous version request threads, so I'll keep my main ideas sweet and simple:

1. Change the Amarok icon to the standard wolf one. The current one looks like a blue KMix icon. The wolf one is so much cooler.

2. Inlude the WavPack codec. Not a big deal, but we have virtually every other codec available, so why not wavpack?

3. EIX - many agree this is a very useful Portage tool to have and use.

4. Include Deluge - IMO it's better than Azureus.

5. Add a volume control app to the startup by default (e.g. KMix)

6. Wait for KDE 4 to be released and then include that.

No way.

Deluge is a great thing tho.

Kmix is it possible to have the sound at normal voice levels as it always tries to fry my ears / speakers and I am too slow to get it to mute / 50% or less during startup.

PS> konsole / teminal the bell / audio notification gets me ealry in the morning as it tries to wake the whole house up during emerge notifications can someone post a permanent off how-to for it not just temp until next launch of konsole disable, sry I am stupid with this stuff LOL. I opened my laptop and disconnected the speakers just because of this until how-to to kill it with. :eye:

Ok, how about include the current release candidate for KDE 4? That'd be acceptable, right?

Ok I've done some reading and think KDE 4 should be put on hold until they iron out many of the problems that have been reported about it already.
But I guess we can safely assume KDE 3.5.8 will be included?
