Re: Linux Operating System Mobile Phone Suggestion

The FIC Neo 1973 OpenMoko mobile phone is a mobile phone which I would consider, however it is an experimental product at this time and is not supported within the United Kingdom by service providers. My service provider is O2 Ltd. It works with any GSM provider http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Neo197...

Sabayon GNU/Linux 3.4F PCI Wi-Fi Adapter Choice

All I own a NETGEAR Wireless-G WG311V3 54Mbps PCI Wi-Fi Adapter, featuring a Marvell Semiconductor Inc. Chipset, which does not function out-of-the-box within Sabayon GNU/Linux 3.4F. Re: Linux keeps man from receiving warranty repairs

All As far as I am aware, DSG Retail Ltd.'s claims that the removal of Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium and the installation of a GNU/Linux has voided the warranty of the Laptop PC is false. Acer Inc. do not penalise their customers because of the fact that the owner may choose to install an Ope...

Re: Apple iPod Denies GNU/Linux Media Access

Oblique The cryptographic checksum's which were applied to the latest Apple iPods were compromised within 36 hours of it being known therefore the restriction doesn't affect the latest models, however I suspect that Apple Inc. may attempt to re-apply such restrictions in the future to further deny G...

Apple iPod Denies GNU/Linux Media Access

All Apple Inc. have implemented cryptographic checksums into their new Apple iPod devices thus disallowing non-Apple iTunes software applications access to the devices; as far as I am aware, the cryptographic checksums have been integrated into every Apple iPod model therefore if anyone is consideri...

Microsoft Corp. Xenix

All As of recent I have noted a large number of popular Web sites quoting the fact that Microsoft Corp. and Novell Inc.'s Corporate Partnership of November 2006 has become Microsoft Corp.'s own GNU/Linux distribution because of the fact that Microsoft Corp. is distributing Novell Inc. SUSE Linux Des...

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.4 Revision F: Stable Release

All The reason as to why many Desktop PCs and Laptop PCs become unresponsive is because of the fact that the NVIDIA Corp. device driver for NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processing Units contained within Sabayon GNU/Linux 3.4E and Sabayon GNU/Linux 3.4F contains major problems and therefore it is the root...

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.4 Revision F: Stable Release

All I've encountered increased instability using the Sabayon GNU/Linux 3.4F x86 Live DVD build of the Operating System; specifically the fact that multiple software applications frequently become instable, including Danger From The Deep and Flight Gear. I have noted the fact that the Operating Syste...
