Re: Download from mirror

Never download multi-gigabyte files directly from a browser (especially if it's IE). If the download disconnects for whatever reason, you won't be able to resume from where it left. You should use a download manager. Try Free Download Manager on Windows. Version 2.5 supports metalinks, so you can do...

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 1.1 Professional Edition Release

Ugh, why is the .md5 on the torrent? It makes it a multi-file torrent making it harder to seed an existing file (since the BT client would usually create a folder), and there is no real need for it, torrents have built-in verification...

Re: What do I do with a delta?

Wolfden's link won't really help you in that case, since that wiki page explains the procedure for the official ones. Get xdelta version 3 . I'm...

Re: Ibiblio.org download link For SabayonLinux.org files

I have ideas for an extension to the metalink format that would include xdelta information. We could have a single .metalink: If a user downloads it, it would download the 4GB iso using multiple mirrors, and check md5 automatically. And additionally, if he has an older iso, it would download the 200...
