i have a cellphone, and a tablet, so touch screen scrolling is natural for me. in Mouse & Touchpad there is only one tickbox to enable Natural scrolling for both. when this box is ticked, the touchpad uses it but the external mouse uses reversed scrolling. is this something i can fix with .config fi...

here's what find / -name "wl.*" 2> /dev/null had to say: /etc/mod probe.d/wl.conf /usr/src/linux-3.13.0-sabayon/drivers/mtd/ubi/wl.c /lib64/firmware/car19170fw/carlfw/include/wl.h /lib64/modules/3.12.0-sabayon/net/wireless/wl.ko i take two things away from this: 1. my latest kernel does not flag wl....

hey moderators, if moving this thread to Networking and Wireless will get it more airtime, i have no problem with that at all. i honestly exhausted everything the internet has to say with wifi not working with sabayon installed on my laptop. so when i checked blacklist.conf and it hadn't been change...

so several updates have managed to break my wifi
but so far none of them seem to have fixed the slider
that controls screen brightness in the system tray.
is there some setting i need to change to make it work?

so it turns out there was no warning to change blacklist.conf
because no changes were made. blacklist bcma and b43 but not wl.
so now i have no nm-applet, no wifi, no easy explanation for why
and no clear course for what to do next. urgent please help!

this time i noticed the Broadcom licence in the list rigo needed me to okay to proceed, but there was not even the courtesy of an urgent if incorrect plea to break my wifi now. i accepted the licences, okayed the updates and -poof- my wifi is completely broken again. have to check blacklist.conf to ...
