Re: 64 bit Flash: On it's way

Hi chickpea! Didn't have to unmask netscape-flash, simply 'emerge netscape-flash' & Portage did the compiling. So it was a case of 'emerge -C nspluginwrapper', then 'emerge netscape-flash' then rebooted just to ensure it was all set for action  So far, must say that web pages load faster (more ...

Re: Update Sabayon 3.5 after installation?

Hi Richlion, I installed SL 3.5.1 x86_64 last Saturday, but no Thunderbird (too many choices!). Anyway, you could always fire-up Spritz & install it from there. Or if you want to use Portage, simply 'emerge -av mozilla-thunderbird'. It may take a while depending on your machine, but you should be go...

Re: Update Sabayon 3.5 after installation?

Hi Richlion,
Wouldn't it have been easier to simply install 3.5.1, then you'll be up-to-date :?:

Hi messana,
Maybe if you re-point the link to the sounds, think Jamendo have been moving things around

Thanks!

Re: Overwrote SL by my son!

Hi all! Thought it'd be nice to come & say thanks to all who offered their sage advice today :D Overwrote/repaired my grub record, using the 3.5 SL 64 bit DVD, all I had to do then was to get rid of Mandriva! Simply reformatting did the trick, then it was a case of copying my data off. Gotta say, I'...

Re: Overwrote SL by my son!

No, my SL was installed onto my 1TB HDD, mandriva has been installed on the 150GB HDD. My query is, how can I get read the data off the 1TB that SL formatted as a LVM filesystem? Or maybe simply install SL onto the 150GB HDD, then SL will hopefully be able to read the data off my 1TB HDD!

Re: Overwrote SL by my son!

Thanks for the advice wolfden :D Now how would I get to & edit my grub file? I don't want to make an even bigger mess than what I've been given! i.e. What entry would I insert & more importnatly, where? You can probably tell that I've never even looked at a grub file, let alone edit it! Thanks again!
