I'm lovin' it, personally. :) A quick word of advice for anyone who's a bit of a graphics geek like me: the start button icon that Tasty Menu uses is 22x22 in size. You can edit the icon by right-clicking on the Tasty Menu icon and configuring it. Make your own if you wish, but remember that the act...

What is the icon theme used on the right side of the desktop?
I believe they're from the "Micro Icon" set that can be found on DeviantART. Nutritious Linky Goodness

I just edited two of them in GIMP to add the custom text to it.

Here's my current one, though I am prone to changing it often. I've gone for light and minimalist here.

Re: New Icon set

Here is an icon set I'm working on for Sabayon. I would like some feedback and suggestions from the community. These are all done using an SVG format and would not be very difficult to switch into different colors. http://kephren.us/pictures/sabayon-basics.png Excellent! Black and red icons are ext...

Hi Not quite installed. When you use the emerge command with the -pv flag it just checks to see whether the package is there. Now run the command without the -pv like so emerge =kde-misc/tastymenu-0.7.1 (as root !!) It will tell you when it's finished installing. Once installed, unlock the kde pane...

Hi Sorry, my mistake. A few changes to steps 3 & 4. Edited below: This is what I do when installing custom ebuilds. 1) Goto to folder /usr/portage/local/ and create a folder called custom. 2) Go into the /usr/portage/local/custom folder and create a folder for what type of app it is. (For the tasty...

or you could just compile it from the ebuild and not be lazy :P The thing is, even though I have the link to compiling the ebuild, I just don't understand it at all . I really don't. I mean, at first, the guide goes on about placing the ebuild into the right category and program? WTF? I don't under...

Well, thanks for that OOS, unfortunately I just got completely lost right at the start. I'm afraid my knowledge level of Linux is still pretty low. :(

The Tasty Menu ...(solved)

Has anyone seen this?

Clicky da Linky

Now, I like this menu. I can, apparently, download the Gentoo ebuild, which I'm assuming I need for Sabayon. However, I have no idea how to use the ebuild to install the menu onto my system.

Good Folk of Sabayon, how do I do this?
