sometimes you just need to choose the right sound device:
skype menu > Options (ctrl + o) > Sound Devices

for me the workaround with "removing" pulseaudio as suggested in the topic mentioned by Fitzcarraldo worked ;)

mv /usr/bin/pulseaudio /usr/bin/pulsesucks
killall pulseaudio

weiß aber leider nicht, wie es ohne gui geht...

have you tried with your user password? suppose you have... you can try: rm ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring which will erase whole keyring or install seahorse (a GUI for gnome-keyring) and try to change the password there Applications > Accessories > Passwords and Encryption Keys > Passwords select...
