Re: Dell Wireless 1395

lol, I gave up in the end because I don't like the hassle when I want a reinstall, I don't remember the right order anymore to get it fixed. I will try it at the end of the year when my notebook gets replaced.

Re: Minor issues with Sabayon 4.1 KDE version

The trouble with your theory is that I also have an "older" model of AMD ATI GPU that is not supported by the AMD Catalyst 9.4 Linux driver (a.k.a. fglrx) but my display does not show the watermark. The last version of the fglrx driver that supports the "older" GPUs is Catalyst 9.3, and my display ...

I don't have the problem as I don't use the Entropy package: I installed the Portage package ati-drivers-...

Re: Sabayon 4, 64-bit, ATI and compiz

I forgot to mention that Google Earth wouldn't start in the 64-bit edition because it gave a message about the video driver that wouldn't be ' powerfull' enough, so probably the problems with 3D are due to the ATI drivers, never seen that problem before with google earth as well. I would suggest to ...

Re: Sabayon 4, 64-bit, ATI and compiz

EXACT same problems about Compiz for me with an ATI x1150 integrated card (detected as x200, but that's no problem). I started accel-manager in a terminal as root to check the output but it didn't show any error. I switched to 32 bit version of Sabayon 4, which solved the issue. (I didn't had this p...
