Re: How Can I tell which Video Driver I'm Using?

You can do:

Code: Select all

eselect opengl list
to see what you are using for OpenGl and glxinfo will have a renderer string:

Code: Select all

glxinfo | grep "renderer string:"
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20100330 DEVELOPMENT

Re: Spell Check in Libre Office

It is weird, I had tried that solution. But I went back to the Sabayon repos version of Opera last week and had to reinstall the dictionaries for that and that fixed Libre. I wonder if Hunspell is using the dictionary in my ./opera profile? The good news is I now have spell check in Libre and Opera...

Webcam Studio [Solved]

I need to use Webcam Studio, or a streaming video processor of the same caliber for a presentation I am giving soon. Webcam Studio is written in Java, and I have no problem running it with $java -jar %PATH-TO-FILE%. However, there is apparently a loopback device that can be used for output and I bel...

See this http://wiki.sabayon.org/index.php?title=HOWTO:_Safely_mix_Entropy_and_Portage Also, look at this bug for more info: --> http://bugs.sabayon.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2090 You probably had Sulfur running in the GUI or something hung for som...

Spell Check in Libre Office [Solved]

I recently switched to Libre because of what is going on behind the scenes with the Document Foundation and Oracle. When I installed Libre it uninstalled OO. The spell check in Libre did not work. This seemed to be the only issue (but a big one as I can't spell for nothing). I googled this problem a...
