Subsonic music server on Sabayon?

Has anyone set up the Subsonic music server on Sabayon? It is not in the repository. I see nothing in a google search, although I find some several year old links for subsonic gentoo ebuilds.

Also curious about the Madsonic fork of Subsonic as an option.

That must be it, I've added confirmation to the bug report.

Re: Netflix desktop for Sabayon?

So Pipelight 0.2.3 is now in the Sabayon repos. I've installed it, and tried to follow instructions here to get Netflix working: https://answers.launchpad.net/pipelight/+faq/2351 I've used the recommended Firefox add-on "user agent overrider" and set my user agent to one of the recommended Windows F...

Re: It would be great to have more recent E-17 version

E17 beta was released about 3 days ago. Maybe soon in Sabayon? With a final version release date of 12-21-12, maybe at least soon after that release.

Re: Wireless access now requires root password

I also tried "equo remove networkmanager" intending to reinstall it hoping any odd settings would be removed. That command made it also remove 9 total packages including gdm and gnome-shell. Yikes! "equo install networkmanager" then only added back networkmanager and I had to "equo install" all the ...

Re: Wireless access now requires root password

I don't know how to check the netdev group, but I did enter the command you gave, and I got a response that adding the user was successful. However, it still made no difference and when trying to connect to a network, it still asks for the administrative password with the warning, System policy prev...

Wireless access now requires root password

Wireless access now requires root password on Sabayon every single time you power on. I can't tolerate this setting and need to get it back to the sane settings not requiring root passwords as used in every other Linux system, but how do I do that? This is the case on 2 different computers, both run...

Re: Can't "equo hop" from branch 4 to 5

These commands completed successfully. equo install python entropy equo --nodeps equo install entropy --relaxed Then, before I did a full "equo update" I wanted to make sure Firefox would work so ran "equo install mozilla-firefox". That pulled in over 500 dependencies, downloaded them all, but then ...

Can't "equo hop" from branch 4 to 5

I had previously installed Sabayon 4.2 on my parent's computer. But that is just too far out of date with old security vulnerabilities no longer being patched. First, before equo hopping, I fully updated Sabayon 4, equo was at the latest version in Sabayon 4. Then, equo hop 5: Worked fine. Then, equ...
