Re: why is sabayon is large?

I don't understand your problem with the size, the disks are quite large today, 80 - 160 GB being a fair standard, why worry about some 10GB?

It is possible... Especially that apart from that everything works perfectly. Then I guess we need to wait for a stable version of Compiz-Fusion ;P

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.4 Revision F: Stable Release

Well, in case of version 3.4f there is also a problem with ATI, I guess... The kicker freezes in both livedvd and after install if desktop acceleration is enabled. No chance for operational Compiz-Fusion :(

This is also true for ATI+xgl+compiz. Locked taskbar both in case of livedvd and after install... No compiz

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.4 Revision F: Stable Release

No edit option? It seems that the menu freezes the kicker when Compiz is activated... I'm now in Metisse and everything works fine. The same happens when booting from livedvd with desktop acceleration on. Any ideas? Anyone having the same problem?

I have it installed and my kicker does not work: it seems to be frozen, menu and the icons do not work. Upper panel does work OK.

Re: Sabayon Linux future colour scheme

Oh, no, please do not return to that awful red outlay. It was really hard to read. I don't care for pink, make it grey, blue, whatever, but make sure the background is light enought to make the letters readable (unlike it was with the red theme). May two or three versions to choose from would be a g...

Re: Sabayon Linux future colour scheme

I like this pink version :D It's much more easy on my eyes than the red-black one. Honestly, I hated the previous versions

Re: How to Update Compiz Fusion **8/28/07**

I did it according to your instructions, all seemed fine, but my computer slowed down to unbelievable speed :( I have to return to the version supplied with 3.4e
