Re: Cedega vs Wine for Mactel

I have to be perfectly honest and say that a Mac is'nt up to games, even natively on OSX or Windows.

I would reccommend wine but always keep it updated. It may work but a mix of ATi/Mac is a recipe for disaster.

Re: What is the (second) simplest way to run Windows games?

Wine is really gaining momentum at the moment and while its not quite as easy as cedega, it is quite a bit better.

Re: Is Beagle slowing Sabayon?

SUSE recently halfed their boot time by removing beagle, turns out no one really uses it or needs it.

Re: Very Poor Performance - SL 3.4 mini

Just a heads up. -ssse3 is not recognised when compiling so i got rid and replaced it with -sse3 which works fine.

Re: Very Poor Performance - SL 3.4 mini

I edited my make.conf, set -02, -ssse3 (there was no -msse), had a look about, seems nocona is a good idea, set -j20 just to see how that does. Will emerge those programs too.

Tried to emerge ndiswrapper but it couldn't determine the kernel...
