dude the problem is not with anything but user error,,if you would make use of good sabayon practice and not mix portage and entropy(choose one or the other) and make use of good portage habits and check everything out before you do it(you do realise portage has switches to pretend and ask and such?...

you didn't get kicked,quit using that junky web client,use konversation,the link on your desktop that says get live help[11:02 pm] ws4life16 has quit IRC: "http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client",you quit or most likely that junky web client is dropping connection.

when you get kde installed(equo update && equo install kde-meta),come to irc we will show you how one last time,but if you log into kde and click the networkmanager applet in the top right chances are it will ask you the info you need to input and give a means to save it and you will not need our help

What's Klik ?I found a listing on google.It's not in portage and shouldn't be used in sabayon.As far as the mini being broken,No its not,you may have a bad iso,(did you verify the md5 checksum?)Have you read any documentation on sabayon as to avoid PEBKAC issues like this Klik thing and other issues...
