Re: Translators needed for the Sabayon Project.

Success!!! Placing spritz.mo in .../en/... worked. So I guess NLS works differently from whatever KDE sets. I am not at all familiar with locales, internationalization, NLS, etc. Normally I just do everything in English. Well, now that I can see where things go, I should be able to do a better trans...

Re: Translators needed for the Sabayon Project.

CatalanUser, I did "equery files spritz" and I saw that all files had to be spritz.mo. So I did that. I had to change the KDE language settings since it is normally set to EN all the time. After I did that, most of KDE switched correctly, but spritz was still just in English. I will try a couple of ...

Re: Translators needed for the Sabayon Project.

I am trying to test my translation, but I am having a problem. I made the .mo file, placed it in /usr/share/locale/bg/LC_MESSAGES/, checked it permissions, and changed the KDE language settings so that BG is first in the list, but the language in Spritz does not seem to change. What am I doing wrong?

You may want to keep an eye on this bug.
I tried to use the same or similar nvidia raid and could not get it to work either.

Re: Translators needed for the Sabayon Project.

bg.po is 56% done now. I am using Kbabel. Hopefully that will still produce a correct file. I am going to have to get equo before I can go on. There are some translations that may be incorrect depending on where they are used. Is it easy to add the po files and build equo with the new translations? ...

Re: Translators needed for the Sabayon Project.

If anyone is translating for bg, post here so we are not duplicating work. I am not a linguist and the lack of a proper keyboard makes it a lot slower for me. About 1/8 done.

Re: Really weird, random compiz-fusion problem

I have the same problem. I ran python-updater after I had gone back into X at least once. I can run compiz-start from Konsole and get some effects, but I cannot restart the icon application and the settings application looks completely different now. I do not know exactly how it works, but it seems ...

Re: GRUB problem??

When you get to grub, instead of booting, press "c" That will bring your grub console. Type "help" and you will see all the available commands. There is a grub manual online http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.html that helped me. I personally have used "find" as in "find /grub/menu.lst" if...

Re: GRUB problem??

Do you have any other disks in the system? Your controller card may be reordering your boot order from what you see in the BIOS. I experienced similar problems with a different add-on controller.
