Settings for Rigo?

Where are the settings for Rigo? I don't like it installing updates without my permission. I'd like to get rid of the popups too.

Scroll wheel mouse [Solved]

The scroll wheel on my HP USB mouse only works part-time with Sabayon. This is apparently a configuration issue as it works fine under other linuxes. The evdev docs refer me to /etc/X11/xorg.conf where I see no input device configuration listed. There is also a "# lines to scroll" setting in KDE whi...

Re: x86_64-4-r2 LiteMCE install bugs

I have an older monitor that doesn't have that feature. That's why I reported the problem. One of the few ways that software can do damage to hardware is by setting the video output at too high a frequency. When there is no video freq information from the monitor, as with my GM-171b, sabayon default...

Re: x86_64-4-r2 LiteMCE install bugs

I'll take your point. The cheat should override the script.

But I'd like you to consider my point as well. The script should consider the weakest link in the chain, which in my case is the monitor. It should not simply go to the highest resolution the card can handle.

Re: x86_64-4-r2 LiteMCE install bugs

Do you mean? noddc res=1024x768 refresh=60 opengl=ati I could do that after bootup, after I have a terminal. But I'd still be dealing with an overstressed monitor and a big out of range warning until this line is entered. And I can grab the Gnome monitor resolution dialog quicker than I can type tha...

x86_64-4-r2 LiteMCE install bugs

I think I've found two bugs in the x86_64-4-r2 LiteMCE install. I have verified that the MD-5 of the DVD is correct. The first bug is in the video script. My video card is much more capable than my display. The install will cater to the card, which brings up a big "out of range" warning on my displa...

Re: Static IP configuration

Sorry! I'm going to have to take back that "solved" tag. The onboard VIA video hardware on my k8m890 mobo was way too slow to play youtube and other Flash videos. It appears to be the VIA drivers, not sabayon which worked right out of the box. So, I'm putting that machine aside and installing to a G...

Re: Static IP configuration

Just to be sure, I burned another ISO and reinstalled.

Problem gone! I'm sure I checked the MD-5, but this one works. I'm sure I'm going to like sabayon.

Re: Static IP configuration

So, am I the only one that uses static IP? Or am I the only one who has run into this problem.
