wmv files dont play well in smplayer or any player

I find that when I open my WMV files they look all garbled and discolored. this is only with WMV files. all my AVI and other video files play fine. is there a codec or something I can update to fix this? thanks.

I'm not sure how this works in sabayon, but in windows I can right click on a folder and choose properties and say make hidden. is there a way to hide a folder in sabayon? I saw the folder permissions and I chose forbidden, but it didn't save it for some reason, the folder was still accessible. but ...

It was a bit bright at first, but i've adjusted. and coming from an artistic point of view I think the color scheme is very nice. each color works quite well together. if anything is overbearing it would be the white. but then again if you want to go with a light colored theme, I don't know what oth...

you have to be root to move things in that directory use in terminal kdesu konqueror or if in gnome gksu nautilus how do I become root without logging off sabayonuser and logging in as root? So you take the above and place it in a new text file and save it as fusionupdate.sh Move the fusionupdate.sh to your /usr/bin/ and lets make it so we can run it by doing: chmod +x /usr/bin/fusionupdate.sh so, I don't know if I'm doing this part correctly, but I made a new text file on the desktop ...
