Look back at original post. When you are at the Sabayon boot screen, press F5. There will be a line of text towards the bottom of the screen. Scroll thru till you see dodmraid and then just delete the command with the backspace or delete key. Then hit enter and it will boot like normal

Thank you so much guys, this fixed it for me as well. I have the nForce4 solution as well. It is installing right now.

I've updated the original post in case others have this issue and/or it shows up in a google search some day.

Hmmm.... I'm missing something else simple because it keeps telling me that the swap partition isn't initialized and that I should reboot. I've tried that qparted or whatever program and it can't even format without erroring out.

Not easy if you are a linux n00b. Have had the problem for a long while but other distros work fine. I'll wait for 3.4. I'm really holding out for you guys! :)
