Re: Thinkfan - how to configure?

I combine as much as I can and I understand the instructions and I can't run Thinkfan. I don't have good English and Linux, so it's possible that I'm doing something wrong because I misunderstood. I do not understand the error information on the terminal. $ sudo thinkfan -q Hasło: ERROR: Unhandled t...

Re: Thinkfan - how to configure?

I don't have a lenovo and don't understand why this package is critical. Without Thinkfan, the maximum fan speed is 3700 rpm and even if the processor temperature exceeds 70°C, the speed is 3700 rpm, and this is too low. The maximum fan speed is 5,500 rpm or even 6,000 rpm. Thinkfan sets the fan sp...

Re: Thinkfan - how to configure?

I don't know how to report a bug. I got so mixed up in the system that I didn't want to fix myself anymore, so I installed Sabayon again. Thinkfan is an important package for lenovo, because it is much needed to manage fan speed, because without Thinkfan fan speed is badly managed. I can't make Thin...

Re: Thinkfan - how to configure?

I did as you wrote and it still doesn't work. I do not know what to do. ~ $ sudo systemctl start thinkfan Job for thinkfan.service failed because a fatal signal was delivered causing the control process to dump core. See "systemctl status thinkfan.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. [email protected]...

Code: Select all

$ $ sudo systemctl enable thinkfan.service
Failed to enable unit: Unit file thinkfan.service does not exist
I installed Thinkfan. I use equo. I can't configure it. I follow the steps described. I also installed lm-sensors.

Re: How to change hdparm APM = 254 permanently?

I'm doing something wrong because it doesn't work. I don't know if I understood everything correctly from this manual. In / user / lib / systemd I created the system-sleep directory because it wasn't there. In this directory, I created the hdparm file and pasted the content from the #! / bin / sh an...

Re: How to change hdparm APM = 254 permanently?

It works with OpenRC. And there is systemd at Sabayon and it doesn't work with it anymore. Another way is needed. There are instructions on the internet on how to do many things in OpenRC, and how little to do on systemd. And now systemd is ubiquitous. I used a few instructions and realized that the...
