Different Distribution

Staying almost a year with Sabayon Linux, I am now going to a distribution which is less preconfigured. Too much compiling in Gentoo Linux, so I chose Arch Linux. I want to say thank you for all your support in the forums and irc, I learned a lot in this time. Thank you again and goodbye, I'll still...

Re: Login Failed

Got over 10GB free, its saying invalid file system when running equo cleanup. Something is wrong with some configuration files I guess, I suspect I accepted some cfg file changes which I better should not. I can access and edit the file system through a live CD from another distro, so when somebody ...

Login Failed

Dear friends, I updated a week ago through equo and after a restart I could not log in anymore. I use KDE and it will go till the login screen from KDE and it will say login failed. I tried as my user and as root, both fail. I tried to login via command, also failed. When I use "recovery mode", then...

Re: Application looses focus

After switching to respo sabayon-limbo for testing purposes, it updated KDE and some other stuff and the problem disappeared.

No idea what was the problem, but somehow an update fixed it.

Thank you.

Questions about respositories [Solved]

Dear friends, I am wondering about the respositories. It sounds very easy but somehow it is confusing for me: If I enable sabayon-weekly and nothing else, I have sabayon-weekly! I cannot enable sabayon-limbo + sabayon-weekly with a disabled sabayonlinux.org! If I would enable sabayonlinux.org, do I ...

Re: New login screen after update

Solved, thanks to you all. Just because I let Rigo update one config without me checking. The first change of the login screen change happened because an update switched: system settings -> login screen -> theme -> from "SabayonKDM" to "Elarun" The second login screen change was the actual problem: ...
