Re: Howto install Chrome with updated flashplugin? [Solved]

I do NOT suggest running

# equo rescue spmsync

because it makes Entropy packages that correspond to Portage packages, appear as updates, even though they are previous versions.

Re: Sabayon 9 32-bit logs me out

The ACPI warnings that I saw in dmesg of Sabayon 32-bit, are the same with the ones I see in dmesg of Sabayon 64-bit, which are the following: [email protected] ~ $ dmesg |grep -i acpi [ 0.553546] ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F for battery is loaded, please retry with CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER cle...

Re: Sabayon 9 32-bit logs me out

Now I am running Sabayon 9 64-bit, with which this issue doesn't exist. There was nothing relevant in the logs that I checked. dmesg had some ACPI warnings. The issue must had been probably due to nvidia drivers. The latest nvidia drivers made the issue appear less often than the 295.53 driver. My h...

Sabayon's portage repository [Solved]

Hi all,

I have a question. Is Sabayon's portage repository Gentoo-testing or Gentoo-stable?

Thank you.

info command not working

OS: Sabayon 9 32-bit and 64-bit

info command is not working. It produces the following error message:

info: dir: No such file or directory

Is this a bug, or I am missing something?

Thank you.

Sabayon 9 32-bit logs me out

OS: Sabayon 9 32-bit Kernel: 3.3-r4 UI: GNOME Hi all, I have an issue with Sabayon 9 32-bit, that I didn't have with the 64-bit version. At times, the screen blanks up, it returns, and then Sabayon logs me out, with all running programs terminating of course. It mustn't be a power management issue, ...

Re: Where is /etc/crypttab?

I found the answer. The equivalent of /etc/crtyptab is /etc/conf.d/dmcrypt for Sabayon.

Of course different configuration options apply.

Where is /etc/crypttab?

Hi all,

I installed Sabayon 9, and I want to modify the behaviour of the encrypted swap partition. However there is no crypttab. What configuration file does Sabayon use, for activating encrypted partitions during boot?

Thank you.
