Re: ThinkPad TrackPoint sensitivity / speed / scroll

BINGO!!! I just found this forum post: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=355802 To set speed sensitivity I did the following: In Terminal: sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-thinkpad.conf Paste: SUBSYSTEM=="serio", DRIVERS=="psmouse", WAIT_FOR="/sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/s...

Re: ThinkPad TrackPoint sensitivity / speed / scroll

Hey thanks! I had read that article but did not think to try putting the settings in xorg.conf file. This works, here's exactly what I did: In terminal: sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-thinkpad.conf Paste: Section "InputClass" Identifier "Trackpoint Wheel Emulation" MatchProduct "TPPS/2 IBM ...

ThinkPad TrackPoint sensitivity / speed / scroll

I have Sabayon with KDE / Gnome installed on my ThinkPad T410s laptop. There are a couple of configurations that I am not able to get working. Usually I increase the sensitivity / speed for the TrackPoint and also set it up for scrolling using the middle button like wheel emulation. With Fedora or U...

Re: Problem installing Virtualbox

# cp /usr/share/applications/virtualbox-bin.desktop /usr/share/applications/kde4/virtualbox-bin.desktop now VirtualBox appears in the KDE menu. I'm guessing that the kde4 directory was setup as some kind of legacy thing to prevent conflicts for people still using KDE3. Perhaps this should be abando...

Problem installing Virtualbox [Solved]

I'm running Sabayon 8 with KDE 4.8. I tried installing Virtualbox according to the wiki. I did not encounter any errors during the installation steps but Virtualbox is not available to run after reboot. Any suggestions?

Re: How to install phatch

Sorry, I've been really busy and staying up past 6 am too much lately. Somehow, I didn't see that it is "patch" and not "phatch". I guess I should put in a request.

How to install EasyTether [Solved]

EasyTether has a deb files for *buntu and rpm files for Fedora but would need to be built from source for Sabayon. I found this tutorial on how to install but it is for an old version of Sabayon (5.4G) and uses portage. http://g4jc.christiangamemaker.com/wordpress/2010/11/installing-easytether-in-sa...

Re: How to install phatch

I'm assuming wine will eventually make it from the sabayon-limbo repo to the sabayon-weekly repo correct?

Also, I'm not understanding why phatch is listed but not available for install. Does "revision: 0" at the top indicate that it is being worked on but not released yet?
