Re: Weird Gnome3 problem

Re: Sabayon 7 gnome first update breaks the system

You need to run it after the first update, i think the update that breaks it is called librsvg or something similar. I had it aswell on a new install of Sabayon 7 gnome, but running the command mentioned above fixed it straight away.

Weird Gnome3 problem

Well i came across this earlier today and really don't get what is going on.. The problem is if i go to the system settings in the User menu at the top right of the screen and click it i get nothing at all. I thought this was a problem with the actual "system-settings" so I thought I'd look at runni...

Re: Microsoft buys Skype

Well i posted in the android one what i thought about it. I don't think the purchase was based on anything bad, but it's an easy way for MS to get access to the patents. Whether they use them for or against linux, well only the future will tell. I don't really think it's bad news for Skype users on ...

Re: Microsoft...moves in on Android

Tbh it's just a good business attitude to stay onside with MS for HTC. It's totally wrong in most peoples eyes, like the whole Novell/MS agreement. MS are just pulling what they always try to to secure their place (which tbh i can't blame them). The patent laws, infringements and what-not is getting...

Re: OnLive's 'cloud gaming' service

Tbh if they release a linux client for it, they would prob make a huge boost to the actual service. Something like this i think could work really well, the news about Flash getting the Unreal3 engine was interesting aswell (even though flash on linux needs some work). It definitely looks like things...

Re: Sabayon 7 Gnome- NVIDIA

Depending on where you got the extensions some are not compatible with 3.2 and will cause the system to lock on start-up as the worst I've seen. Some extensions and themes only work with 3.0 and because of API changes in 3.2 they are not compatible. To fix it (aslong as you used sulpher) would be to...

Re: Sabayon Linux 7 GNOME, KDE and Xfce

Well last i tried Sabayon was a long time ago... Been watching as it's improved with every release, tried 6 and had problems with the USB stick (Unetbootin issues). Went to Chakra on my laptop and left Ubuntu on my Desktop, then i read about 7 being released, downloaded the iso put it on my USB stic...
