Widescreen support?

Is there widescreen support in sabayon. I couldnt find any. The largest resolution I was able to get was 1024X764, but my laptop monitor supports 1280X800. How do I configure this?

etc-update problem (solved)

I just updated portage and am having problems trying to run etc-update. When I try to run it, I get an error stating that it isnt a command. So what do I have to do to get this to run?
