Thanks, I'll try those once I've got the system back up as it seems to have forgotten all my logon details now!

Sabayon self destruct!

Oh well thunderbird is now the least of my probems, looks like the password word file has got scrambled as none of my logins will work (not even root!)
Any idea as how to get my system back without starting from scratch?

Thunderbird problems

Hi All,
Anyone come across this problem before (or better still a fix!).
Thunderbird has been working quite happily on this system for ages but starting yesterday every time it opens a message or I click on one to view it in the preview panel Thunderbird shuts down.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

As soon as I try to enter my ...

Loop 2 install problems

Well Loop 2 looks and works great in live DVD mode (apart from failing to shut down, it starts the shutdown then hangs). Install is a whole different matter though. First off it doesn't spot my existing installation so doesn't offer an upgrade path. OK, understood the dev versions don't do this, it ...

Well, they took my money for shipping the free Vista upgrade DVD this lappy qualified for then decided the letter from my home insurer confirming the date of supply didn't qualify as proof of purchase (Insurance Co assure me it is all they ever supply in case of a machine they provide needing warran...

Same version of Opera here but the only problem on the front page is the Chuck NorriX quote which starts somewhere to the left of the edge of the window!
