Re: Last update change my pc name

I found Samba doesn't work because nmbd.service is a "After".
If i start manually nmdb and then restart Samba (smbd.service) all it's ok.
But why nmbd doesn't start at boot?

Re: Last update change my pc name

Another problem i found (on laptop):
I had 2 different configuration for my ethernet card, 1 automatic (named eth0) and 1 manual (named eth3).
Now there is only a new connection named "cable connection 1"

also my adsl connections has changed order in dropdown network connections list

Yes. equo update only blacklist.cfg.

Now i changed back pc name using hostnamectl but i still have Samba trouble.
Systemctl tell me Samba fail to start and i have to start it manually using systemctl start nmbd.service
It seems works but i can't access my share from laptop

Re: nm-applet icon missing

I found a workaround to have nm icon displayed on MATE.
i modified /etc/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop.
I commented line:
#AutostartCondition=GNOME3 if-session gnome-fallback
and after reboot icon is displayed
