Hello?
Can anyone tell me which diver is used (evdev or the likes) or if there is any boot code, I could try?

No mouse and Keyboard with amd64_minimal_daily

Hi! I have assembled this brand new haswell box, but can't get any Linux running on it. While the Sabayon minimal DVD boots, it won't access my mouse and keyboard. Model is a wireless Logitech K520. Any ideas? Wit evdev under Gentoo it works. Another question, not really related: is the ca0132 audio...

Re: My struggle installing Sabayon

Does really nobody have a more clear answer regarding the error message?
This effectively prevents me installing Sabayon at all because it is simply not possible.
Is there maybe a chroot installation method? Any other idea?
I try to install Sabayon every other year but something always happens.

Re: Is there a world file?

Yeah, that's what I am currently doing. Browsing once through that equo-given list. Well, right now I am having other severe installation issues, yet unsolved.
Thanks for clarifying this!

Re: Is there a world file?

@Stupod: Thanks for verifying this. Yeah, I also thought that this might reflect the "system" packages installed by the Live CD (CoreCDX in my case). Actually that's what I did, installed it into a VM and then just put my packages into a loooong list to install KDE and various other stuff afterwards...

Re: My struggle installing Sabayon

Thanks for the answer. I already created a partition and formatted it. The installer crashes with that output immediately after calling it. means I am not even coming to the stage where I could select anything...

My struggle installing Sabayon

Hi all. I have severe issues installing Sabayon. I am an experienced Gentoo user, therefore quite familiar with the console. I am trying to install Sabayon onto the external HD of a 2 year old Samsung R780 laptop. The laptop runs Gentoo flawlessly. The medium I downloaded for installation is the Sab...

Re: Is there a world file?

An answer would still be very interesting. Why does joost's output clearly only show the packages installed by hand and mine also a lot of dependencies, I clearly never installed manually?
