I have a WD SpaceSaver 4TB hard drive that runs through the network router with a dynamic IP address. How can I have setup Sabayon to find this drive?

Thanks.

Re: GDM broken

Thanks, that did not work I still have the same problem. At this point I will re-install, I know that is ridiculous but I have saved all my important stuff elsewhere. More importantly where did you learn the commands you used to answer my question. I would like to learn more linux command line input...

Re: GDM broken

Well thank you all for the help. Unfortunately none of this solved the problem. I actually think it is a link problem as /usr/X11/bin/Xorg is not linked correctly. Does this help.

You are correct I did run it from within the Live CD command line. Please instruct me how to use the chroot command to run equo update install on the hard drive.

Thank you.

Re: GDM broken

Thanks I ran the equo install xorg-server from a Sabayon Live CD and that did not fix the problem. I am running the latest version of Sabayon for 64 bit AMD and I do not recall the kernel version.
