Re: System ask about keymap on every boot.

I get this message; No iSCSI initiator found The version is iscsistart: transport class version 2.0-870. iscsid version 2.0-872 I'm using 3.13 and not 3.14 System is SLK fully updated (using sabayonlinux.org) This started after the update I d...

Re: Post-Weekly-Update Problems
It may be worth running a live disc to see if the connection works with that. That will rule out any hardware failure. Sorry if this is obvious but did you run equo conf update after the last updates?

Re: System lockup on linux 3.13.2 kernel [Solved]
Having read lxnay's reply I had a look and added sabayonlinux.org to my repositories and will be trying 3.13.3 to see if it helps with the graphics and sound niggles that have appeared over the last 2 weeks.

Re: System lockup on linux 3.13.2 kernel
I noticed that you don't have ati as an available opengl implementation yet you have a radeon card. Could that be the problem with 3.13.2? Of course the possible problem with using rigo for changing kernel is that you can't use it if you're stuck without a GUI. I've just used kernel-switcher to inst...

Re: More keyboards on live disc
Thank you. Perhaps it's a bug with 14.01 as I did all those steps and it wouldn't "add" any other keyboard until I had connected to the internet.

More keyboards on live disc
I was running live 14.01 KDE last night and wanted to connect to my wifi. Unfortunately I could not find a way to change the keyboard (until I was installing) and it was stuck in US. My wifi password contains symbols and it was a very tedious job finding them on the US keyboard. Is this intended or ...

Kudos to the team
I bought a cheap new laptop yesterday (Toshiba Satellite C50) with the inevitable Windows 8 installed. Despite all the dire predictions I only had to resize the partition that windows was in, turn secure boot off and installed 14.01 with no problems at all. Wonderful. Thank you all.

Magneto - unwanted repetition during upgrade [Solved]
KDE AMD 64 Fully updated.
I'm running through the latest KDE updates at the moment using CLI. The Magneto Entropy Notification applet is coming up after almost every one of the 261 updates. Irritating but not serious.
