Returning to the Project

I hope everyone will be happy to know that I plan to return to the project and help. I've been flicking through the forums lately looking for some information on the new nVidia Ion/Intel Atom platform and it seems like some people have been having issues. For example I remember in one particular cas...

How far are you away from the router? Do you pass through concrete and such to get signals to the router? S...

A breakdown of Equo and Sulfur

Hi, I'm Nathan and I do some basic testing for Entropy. I fall under the rule of the mighty Lxnay and the Great Joost Ruis. I'm going to try my best to breakdown our two new applications, Equo and Spritz Sulfur Rigo. Equo: Equo is like emerge in a sense. I define it as a command-line based package m...

Re: equo security install --ask keeps pulling same packages over

Hi. I'm Nathan and I do some basic testing for Entropy. What I recommend is if you have those two packages installed and they are up-to-date and you know they are ignore it. Also, I tell everyone this, I recommend Spritz for package management because it's simply easier then equo at times. But you d...

Re: Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.5: Stable Release

Hey everyone. I fooled around with 3.4 x86 on my work computer and was very impressed with it. I really want to install this on something, but the only computer I can tinker with is my Mac. Does anyone know if this will work on a 24" aluminum intel imac with ATi Radion HD 2600 pro? I know ATi drive...

Re: Screen Resolution

That's odd... never seen all of the mirrors go down at once. Make sure you are connected to the internet when emerging, that's important. If it still doesn't work try equo. You must be connected to the internet when emerging or using equo. equo install sys-apps/915resolution-0.5.3-r1 Do that as root...
