Hope this helps you.

Re: VBox fail to run after kern update 2.6.33 to 2.6.33 [Sol

The error above was from /var/log/vbox-install.log It is possible I've mixed portage/entropy somewhere down the line, the system has been up for years following updates, etc. But a complete kernel, sources, and vbox re-install from entropy should have fixed that, no? Let me know if I can supply you ...

Re: VBox fail to run after kern update 2.6.33 to 2.6.33 - So

The only solution that has worked was to download the full install directly from virtualbox.org.
After a reinstall and reboot, all is back to normal.
Still have no idea why make wasn't able to locate the needed headers, though.

VBox fail to run after kern update 2.6.33 to 2.6.33 [Solved]

After yesterday's kernel update from 2.6.33 to 2.6.33 64bit, the vbox install fails with the message to run /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup Running that generates the following error log: make KBUILD_VERBOSE=1 -C /lib/modules/2.6.33-sabayon/build SUBDIRS=/tmp/vbox.0 SRCROOT=/tmp/vbox.0 modules test -e inc...

Sulfur Actions button not visible for package removal only

Just updated to Sulfur 0.99.32.1 - each time I load it it prompts me to remove a few deprecated packages, however, the Actions button isn't visible to apply the changes.

I had to select an additional package already installed and choose update for it to appear and run the removal.

Re: Compile KMyMoney 1.02 under Sabayon 5r1 [Solved]

Thanks dunsurfin, I didn't come across that in my (google) search.
I have an installed version which works fine now.
That was a lot easier.

Thanks. I'm going to slink away quietly now.
I don't want to admit how much time I have spent on this.

Compile KMyMoney 1.02 under Sabayon 5r1 [Solved]

I'm not sure if this belongs here or under general Apps, so, please forgive me if I grabbed the wrong forum. KMyMoney isn't in the general repository (if it is I couldn't find it), I believe it is because the dev team hasn't updated the requirements for KDE 4 from 3.5. On their site it says that it ...
