Re: Failed booting After Installing!

It has nothing to do with UEFI, its some update the Sabayon team pushed. Did you update your machine recently?

Re: Sabayon don't boot

I think its the new update which Sabayon team pushed. I am seeing this pattern with Sabayon team, they hardly care about users. I had five machines with Sabayon and I changed it all to Ubuntu. But just this one machine is stuck with Sabayon as its for a non profit organization. I need to find time t...

After the update Sabayon stopped booting up

I cannot login to my machine to get any log files.

I see two other posts with similar issue I think. So basically the update broke my system. Don't we test the system before rolling out.

My machine is current and uses KDE PLasma.

In case you have another python3 installed, resolve the issue by executing # eselect python clear (Commands OTOH, # means "as root", e.g. with " sudo") when I gave eselect python clear I get the below error # eselec...

probabilmente c'è qualccosa che lo cerca/richiede
Quindi dovrei effettuare l'upgrade o il downgrade?

Re: How to open ports?

I disabled and enabled ufw and it worked for now.
But not sure why I get this message
python-exec: Invalid impl in /etc/python-exec/python-exec.conf: python3.3

So basically we changed our firewall from ufw then.
Any way thanks for this input, I guess I need to read all about iptables now then.
